Matigari Adventist Welfare Organization is a 501(c)(3) faith-based membership welfare organization. Below is a summary; the full PDF is available to members in the portal.
Article 1 — Name and Purpose
To operate as a benevolent welfare society for members and their families faced with bereavement, and to coordinate evangelism and community service.
Article 5 — Finance
All bank accounts shall be in the organization’s name with three mandatory signatories. Quarterly statements are available on request. Dues and replenishments are due as announced; delinquency may affect standing and claims.
Welfare Benefit
Eligible bereavement claims receive $5,000 per the benefit schedule, subject to by-law thresholds (continuous standing, timely dues, verified documentation). The Board reviews each claim.
